We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team at Hispi, Didsbury. This role would suit a hard working, friendly individual with a passion for fresh produce of great quality, somebody that takes a great sense of personal pride from doing the best they can do and enjoys the hustle and bustle of a busy neighbourhood restaurant.
As Chef De Partie your main responsibilities will be to maintain the highest possible standards of food preparation and service in line with the standards set out by Elite Bistros and the head chef. You will aid the head and sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen and service whilst working together with the wider restaurant team. You will need to be competent in running a section of the kitchen and will take responsibility for all preparation, ordering, hygiene and the daily running of that section. Recognised training provided includes: health and safety and food hygiene.
Hispi is a 2 AA rosette accredited restaurant. Previous experience at a similar level is preferred but not necessary. We train in house; a great attitude and good interpersonal skills are more valuable than any previous experience.
At Hispi we run a 4 day working week with 7 shifts across the 4 days. The salary is £24,000 per annum with a full share of all tips based on hours worked. Tips equate to within the region of £6000 additional per annum. 5.6 weeks of holiday entitlement a year including bank holiday allowance. Perks include 50% off your bill when dining at Hispi or any other Elite Bistro across the northwest and a free staff meal whilst on shift.
